Make a Difference

We have been empowered to serve one another. Saved people serve people.

Your Role In God’s Story

rom the very beginning, God has been writing a story of redemption, hope, and restoration, and He’s chosen to use people like YOU AND I to carry it forward.

Like farmers who plant seeds knowing they may never see the full harvest, God invites you to SOW your gifts into His Kingdom and trust Him for the increase. The time to plant is now, and the fields are ready.

Serving Is Key To Activation

Just as a seed must be planted to bear fruit, your God-given gifts are meant to be ACTIVATED through serving. When you step out to serve, you step into your calling.

Matthew 20:28, “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

The harvest is ready, but the workers are few. This isn’t just a call to action—it’s a divine invitation.

Matthew 9:37-38, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

As we reflect on the years since the launch of Archaeo Church, one thing is clear: God is moving. The fields are vast, and the seeds we sow today will shape the FUTURE of this church and beyond. Your decision to serve isn’t just about meeting a need—it’s about building a legacy.

Serving At Archaeo

We believe the greatest leadership is service to others. Every leader is a servant first. From the parking lot to the pulpit, everyone serves. Every role is different, but they are all equally important.

Cultural Responsibilities of an Archaeo Church Leader

Scripture: "Let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.' Anything more than this comes from the evil one" (Matthew 5:37)
Principle: We do what we say we will do. Integrity is measured by the gap between what we say and what we do. We are people of our word.
Practice: We live transparent, honest lives where our words and actions align. We are who we say we are, and we do what we say we will do.

Scripture: “To learn the truth you must long to be teachable. Or you can despise correction and remain ignorant.” (Proverbs 12:1 The Passion Translation)
Principle: Recognise that we don’t know everything, and there is always more to be learned. Valuing feedback even if it is uncomfortable. Asking questions and seeking understanding rather than just answers. Seeing correction as a path to improvement, not an attack on identity.
Practice: We are open to feedback, eager to learn, receptive to new ideas, and maintain a humble spirit. We seek out godly wisdom in our decisions, relationships, and attitudes, and can always learn from those around us.

Scripture: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” (Galatians 6:9–10)
Principle: Make a positive difference wherever you go. Leave a legacy of improvement, not just maintenance. Think beyond yourself—what you do now affects those who come after. Responsibility. Stewardship. Generosity. Service.
Practice: Wherever we go, we leave people, situations, and spaces better than we found them—and we bring others with us on the journey.

Scripture: “Honor one another above yourselves.” (Romans 12:10)
Principle: Humility over recognition. Prioritizing the success of the team or mission over personal glory. You lose nothing by lifting others up. Accepting roles that may not be glamorous but are important. Letting go of the need to be seen or praised.
Practice: We choose humility, celebrate the wins of others, and find joy in serving behind the scenes. We recognise that our contribution matters, even if it is not in the spotlight.

Scripture: “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.” (Romans 12:11)
Principle: Our spirituality should be attractive, full of life, zeal, and joy.
Practice: We serve, give, and love with joy, moving in rhythms of grace and making Christ’s love compelling to others.

Scripture: “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” (Romans 12:12; James 1:2–4)
Principle: Faith doesn’t mean the absence of hard things—it perseveres through them. Spiritual grit and resilience are part of spiritual maturity. The fire is where we are refined.
Practice: We don’t just ask God to remove the hard things; we ask Him for strength to walk through them with Jesus. In all things, we maintain a posture of overcoming.

Scripture: “Bless and do not curse.” (Romans 12:14)
Principle: It’s hard to criticize what you are praying for. Where there is unity, God commands His blessing. Gossip tears down unity, and we refuse to participate.
Practice: We choose uplifting prayer over criticism, encouragement over gossip, and unity over division. We create spaces where everyone feels seen, valued, and at home.

Scripture: “In Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” (Romans 12:5)
Principle: Our favorite word is “US.” The big picture is what God is doing on the earth through His church, and we are one part of it.
Practice: We serve faithfully, knowing that even small parts contribute to the greater mission of God.

Scripture: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” (Matthew 5:9; Philippians 4:6–7)
Principle: Peacemaking is active. It means leaning into hard conversations, not avoiding them. We have difficult conversations when necessary. We are listeners; truth speakers; criticism killers; gossip squelchers; defenders of those in leadership. Leaders always understand there are two sides. Before you react to a conversation, consider both sides of the story and remember that we are all on the same team.
Practice: We pursue reconciliation with maturity, knowing that uncomfortable isn’t always unsafe—it’s often the path to healing.

Scripture: “You are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people.” (Ephesians 2:19)
Principle: We don’t serve to earn belonging—we serve because we already belong.
Practice: Out of our identity as God’s people, we joyfully serve so that others can experience the same sense of belonging in Christ.

Scripture: “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.” (Matthew 20:26)
Principle: Leadership is not about entitlement—it’s an incredible opportunity to partner with Jesus in building His Church. We are honored to be able to do what we do. Expectations create excellence. Without boundaries, deliverables, and timelines, progress stalls. Standards allow us to build a reproducible culture that reflects the heart of Archaeo Church wherever we gather.
Practice: We treat leadership as stewardship, honoring the role God has given us. We embrace accountability, meet expectations, and model excellence for those we lead.

Scripture: “Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt.” (Colossians 4:6)
Principle: Leaders understand that culture is spoken, not just thought. Communication brings clarity and unity, while silence creates confusion. Over-communication ensures excellence and prepares the team for success.
Practice: We check, double-check, and triple-check important details. We use rosters, confirm schedules weeks in advance, and reconfirm the week of. We teach others how to speak the culture clearly and consistently.

Scripture: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” (Colossians 3:23)
Principle: Leaders don’t make excuses—they raise the standard. Excellence is a learned habit. Pushback is natural for those new to the culture, but we stay steady, explaining the “why behind the what.” The system doesn’t complicate serving—it makes serving a success.
Practice: We RSVP, communicate promptly, and use tools like PCO with diligence. We set the tone of excellence across every team, including our creative community, by choosing accountability over excuses.

Serve Team Commitment:

Having received Jesus as my Lord and Savior and being in agreement with the values and ideas presented in this manual, I now feel led by the Holy Spirit to join the Archaeo Church family. In doing so, I commit myself to God and to the church community to do the following:

I will protect the unity of my church

By acting in love toward other members. By refusing to gossip. By following the leaders.

So let us concentrate on the things which make for harmony, and on the growth of one another’s character. Romans 14:19

Live in complete harmony with each other—each with the attitude of Christ toward the other. Romans 15:5

Have a sincere love for other believers, love one another earnestly with all your heart. 1 Peter 1:22

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs. Ephesians 4:29

Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you. Hebrews 13:17

I will share the responsibility of my church

By praying for its growth and health. By inviting the unchurched to attend. By warmly welcoming those who visit.

To the church...we always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. 1 Thessalonians 1:1-2

Go out into the country...and urge anyone you find to come, so that the house will be full. Luke 14:23

So, warmly welcome each other into the church, just as Christ has warmly welcomed you; then God will be glorified. 1 Peter 1:22

I will serve the ministry of my church

By discovering my gifts and talents. By being equipped to serve by my pastors as they follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. By developing a servant’s heart.

Serve one another with the particular gifts God has given each of you. 1 Peter 4:10

So Christ himself gave...pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. Ephesians 4:11-12

Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus...taking the form of a bondservant. Philippians 2:4-5, 7

I will support the testimony of my church

By attending church and Friends and Family groups faithfully. By living a godly life. By developing a conviction of the tithe.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42

Let us not neglect our meeting together...but encourage one another. Hebrews 10:25

But whatever happens, make sure that your everyday life is worthy of the Gospel of Christ. Philippians 1:27

I will share the responsibility of my church

By praying for its growth and health. By inviting the unchurched to attend. By warmly welcoming those who visit.

To the church...we always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. 1 Thessalonians 1:1-2
